I'm a 36 year old mature student of Web Site / Web Application Design based in the West Midlands region of the UK. I am currently studying towards the CIW Webmaster Design Certification with The University of the West of Scotland.
I have completed some of the courses in the Certificate in Web Applications Development provided by the Open University. I have chosen to move my studies to the CIW qualification because I feel it is more complete course of study and one of the few industry recognised qualifications.
This web site is a place for me to try out new techniques I learn along the way and to provide links to useful web resources and software. Hopefully the resources will come in handy for others, as well as helping me keep my browser bookmarks list a good bit shorter.
My latest web design work has been for my friend Rebecca Woodcock. I have made a web page for her to host images from her recent art exhibition. I'll be modifying her site to include a blog and update some of the images.
